Funeral service for Sue Marie Willette will be 10 a.m., Wed., April 6, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Tim Marler officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
Sue died Thurs., March 31, 2011, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 79.
The daughter of John Edward and Alfa (Minton) Campbell was born Sept. 23, 1931, in Tazwell, TN. On July 7, 1961, Sue married Don Michael Willette in Los Angeles, CA. In 1978, they made their home in Claremore. Sue was a homemaker; and a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, crocheting, and attending her church, Bible Church of Owasso. Sue and Don also enjoyed traveling together.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Don of the home; children: Michael Willette and wife, Theresa of Oologah, and Victoria Willette Sullivan of Claremore; grandchildren: Jessie Contreras and husband, Santos of Glendale, AZ, Brittany Willette of Chouteau, Kiersten Willette of Oologah, Katie Sullivan of Portland, OR, Mark Sullivan of Juneau, AK, and Emily Sullivan of Juneau, AK; great-grandson, Cayden Hart of Chouteau; and sisters: Loretta Cosby and husband, Austin of Monroe, MI, and Cornelia Campbell of New Tazwell, TN.
