Susan Lynn Cook

A memorial service celebrating the life of Susan Cook will be 3:00p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Susan “Susie” Lynn Cook left this world Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. A loving mother, daughter and friend, she will be greatly missed by the many people who loved her.
Susie spent the last twenty years, of her long career in food service, as Manager of Food and Nutrition Services at Hillcrest Claremore (formerly Claremore Regional Hospital). She considered her employees there, a part of her family and was devoted to her work and to the hospital.
Susie was born October 4, 1957 In Hamilton, New York to Wayne and Charlotte Cook. She is survived by “the loves of her life”, sons Scott Cook and Caleb Cook; step-mother Rosie Cook all of Claremore; mother Charlotte Richardson of Tennessee; her sisters Renee, Marie and Mary; her brothers David, Terry, Mark, Keith and Scott and many nieces and nephews; her long-time friend and companion Nolan Childs of Tulsa. Susie was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Cook, step father Aubrey Richardson and two sisters, Shirley and Cheryl.
