Suzanne “Susie” Elizabeth McDrummond, 74, of Claremore, OK, passed away on November 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 10, 1950 in Blackwell, OK, Susie was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Susie was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Merlene (Fitch) Fultz, infant brother Douglas Leroy, sister Karen Hill, husband Dennis Cummins, and husband Phil McDrummond. 

Susie is survived by two daughters from her first marriage, Carmen (David) Bell of Vienna, VA, daughter Ashlie Pogue of Sapulpa, OK, and granddaughters Laney, Olivia, Annie and Hazel Bell.

Susie is survived by her husband’s children from her second marriage, son Shawn (Carmen) Cummins of Owasso, OK, daughter Michelle (Chris) Wilson of Broken Arrow, OK, and daughter Heather Cummins. Grandchildren include Whitney and Marshall. Great grandchildren Avery and Kayden. 

Susie is survived by her husband’s son from her last marriage, Matthew (Denise) McDrummond of Jamestown, TN. Grandchildren include Tyler (Kenzie) McDrummond, Kayla (Jordan) Bertram, and Emma McDrummond. Great grandchildren Melanie and Landon McDrummond and Liam Bertram. 

Susie is also survived by her beloved siblings and their spouses. Her her brother in law Chuck Hill, brother Gary (Karen) Fultz, sister Jo (Ivan) Rainbolt, sister Sherry Henderson, sister Nancy (Gary) Leslie, brother Earl (Denise) Fultz and sister Lorena Heiden. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews are too numerous to count!

Susie graduated high school from Braman, OK in 1968. After High School she completed cosmetology school in Bartlesville, OK, but spent most of her life taking care of her family and raising her children.

Susie was creative, resourceful, and crafty. She made beautiful things from simple items. She was a talented seamstress, sewing both of her daughter’s wedding dresses. 

She was a devout member of the Church of Christ, involved in every congregation she attended. She decorated bulletin boards, hosted church parties, cooked for luncheons and taught Bible class. 

Susie will be missed by her family and friends. We are all grateful knowing we will see her smile in heaven one day. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Susie’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
