Ted Eugene Steidley

Ted Steidley passed away on July 21, 2021 He was 83 years old. Ted was born to Theodore and Edna Steidley in Tiawah, Ok. Ted attended Washington Schools, Tiawah Schools, Macintosh Schools and Claremore Schools growing up. After his school years he helped his parents on the family farm and mowed lawns. Over the years he worked at Jack Kissee Ford and the Claremore sanitation department for 33 years, where he retired from as a foreman. Ted liked to fish, but he really loved to travel it did not matter if it was around town or long trips out of state.
Ted loved to socialize with his friends and be around people. He enjoyed the Blue Grass Festivals and his morning donut shop routine where he and his closer friends would solve the worlds problems over coffee and donuts. Above everything else he loved his family. Ted was at his happiest when his family was around him visiting at christmas, thanksgiving or birthdays you could count on him being there.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Russell Steidley.
He is survived by his wife, Janie; brother J.D. Steidley, and sister Beullah Mae Smart; Niece Melody; Nephews Larry Wayne Steidley, Dewayne Steidley, Larry Steidley Jr. and Ernie Smart IV; and 15 great nieces, nephews and other extended family.
