Teresa ( Turner) Dill, a spirited adventurer with a giving heart, passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born to Carl and Janis Turner in Miami, Oklahoma, and grew up in Monkey Island, Oklahoma, where she attended Grove High School and graduated with the Class of 1976.
Teresa's love for life was evident in her passion for adventure and her selflessness in helping others. She had a heart that knew no bounds, always eager to lend a hand and do whatever she could to bring happiness to those around her. Teresa found joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the time spent riding her motorcycle with Richard and their friends.
Her love for travel led her to her favorite destinations, the sandy beaches of South Padre Island and the tropical paradise of Hawaii. These were places where she found peace and relaxation, making cherished memories that she held close to her heart.
Beyond her love for adventure, Teresa had a deep affection for her dogs, and they held a special place in her heart. However, above all else, family was paramount in her life. Teresa shared a close bond with her father, Carl, and she was truly a "daddy's girl." Her family meant the world to her, and she did all she could do to be there for them.
Teresa's love story with Richard began in school, and their friendship grew over the years. They eventually found a deep and lasting love that led to 27 wonderful years together. Their bond was unbreakable, and they truly were best friends, supporting and cherishing each other through life's journey.
Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Janis Turner, and her mother-in-law, Kathryn Dill.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Dill; her father, Carl Turner; her sister, Carla Jo Apple, and husband Ray; her son, Kyle Keiffer; her daughters, Angilee Burger, Bonnie Smith, and husband Henry, and Shelby Ethridge and husband Boyd. Teresa's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Dillon, Jacob, Rese, Bella, Mila, and Anistyn.
Teresa Dill will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her love, kindness, and adventurous spirit. May she rest in peace, knowing that her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who loved her.
