Tom Castle

Thomas Harry Castle

                Thomas Harry Castle was born April 12^th, 1960 to John Henry and Carolyn Sue (Kitt) Castle in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Tom was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated from Edison High School with the Class of 1978.  Being a gifted athlete, Tom excelled in sports.  Shortly after he graduated, his family moved to Claremore.  There he met Patricia Lynn Penny and the two were married on April 2, 1980.  From this union, two children were born.

                Tom was very active in his children’s lives often coaching them in their sports.  He enjoyed spending his summers at the ball fields or at the lake fishing and camping.  For many years, Tom was a supervisor at Terra Nitrogen and later began working on the pipelines.  This allowed him to travel to many different places.   His grandchildren were the light of his life.  He loved spending time with them and cheering them on at their sporting events.

                Tom left this earth on December 19^th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He fought a long, hard health battle and was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry.  Tom is survived by his sister Candy Castle of Owasso, his children Courtney Castle of Claremore, Chris Castle and wife Stephanie of Claremore and his 3 granddaughters Reece, Adlee and Charlee Castle.

                A celebration of life will be held for Tom on Friday, January 6^th, 2023 at North Block Common, 115 N Missouri Ave, Claremore 74017 from 5-8 pm.
