Thomas Edward Jones

Graveside service for Thomas Edward Jones will be 11 a.m., Tues., Nov. 23, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Bishop Bell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-6 p.m.

Thomas died Thurs., Nov. 18, 2010, at his home at the age of 58.

The son of Thomas Edward Jones, Sr. and Ruthalee Roundtree was born Feb. 11, 1952, in Coffeyville, KS. Thomas served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Aviation Comanchero during Vietnam, and then later served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Thomas worked as a machinist, retiring from Gear Products, Tulsa, in 2003. On July 8, 1997, Thomas married Mary Jean "Jeannie" Trani in the Philippines. They renewed their vows in Claremore on July 24, 1998.

Thomas is preceded in death by his son, Jack Edward Jones; and grandparents, Jack and Janie Rountree.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Jones of the home; mother, Ruthalee Roundtree of Claremore; and brothers: Jeffery Allen Seals of Claremore, and Terry Michael Seals and wife, Kim of Claremore.
