Tommy Doyle Mitchell

Visitation for Tommy Doyle Mitchell will be Wed., Dec. 28, from 1 until 8 p.m. at the Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. Family will greet friends 6 until 8 p.m.
Tommy died Fri., Dec. 23, 2011, at his home at the age of 63.
The son of George Huston and Mary Jo (Baines) Mitchell was born Aug. 1, 1948, in Chelsea. Tommy graduated from Alluwe High School in 1966. On April 9, 1966, Tommy married Debra Jane Pope in Nowata. Tommy continued his education at Okmulgee Tech earning his degree in mechanics in 1968, and in 1979 graduated from Tulsa Welding School. Tommy enjoyed playing dominoes, watching NASCAR, playing card games, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. However, the last few years were all about his grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home; sons: Tommy Mitchell and wife, Marsha, and Trey Mitchell and wife, Alisa; daughter, Tanya Theall and husband, Robert; brothers: George Mitchell and wife, Ann, and Sonny Stewart; sisters: Myrna Denton, Margaret Meeks, Mildred Brooks, and Diane Mitchell; and grandchildren: Cody, Ty, and Roper Mitchell, Dalion, Ryan, and Cade Theall, and Colby and Lucy Mitchell.
