Memorial service for Tony "Rawhide" Mallory will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Friendly Foyil Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Clark will officiate.
Tony Lynn Mallory Sr, passed away October 16, 2013 at the age of 41.
The son of Charles Wayne and Tonie Mayes Mallory was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma April 3, 1972. He was raised in the Foyil area, where he was home schooled, and later attended Foyil High School graduating in 1990. He then and attended Vo-Tech. While at Vo-Tech he studied tool and die machine, and placed 2nd in the state his senior year. Upon graduation he began working for his uncle Clay Mayes who ran a tool and die shop. A few years later he took a job working for Nupar. One day while cashing his check, he met a teller named Aprill Bingham. They were married November 6, 1992. They made their home in the Chelsea area and began raising their family. Tony then felt the need to switch careers, and followed in his family footsteps. He began working with his father as a plumber. In the years to follow he helped his dad, and worked for AAA plumbing. By January of 1997 Tony Mallory Plumbing was up and running. In his spare time Tony loved fishing, hunting, and heeling as a team roper. However spending time with his family is what he looked forward to the most. To some of them he was Rawhide, to his nieces and nephews he was uncle monster, but one thing for sure was he loved them all.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Wayne Mallory.
Survivors include his wife Aprill of the home; sons, Tony Lynn Mallory Jr of Foyil and Zach Mallory of the home; daughters, Cortlynn Clark and husband Adam of Okmulgee, Tracy Mallory of the home, Tara Mallory of the home, and Timber Leigh Mallory of the home; parents, Charles and Tonie Mallory of Chelsea; sisters, Dodie Carr and husband Claude of Big Cabin, Debbie Baldwin and husband Tom of Chelsea, and Kathy Leach and husband Chester of Chelsea, grandparents, Hazel Mallory of Foyil, and Clayton and Dodie Mayes of Claremore, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
