Funeral service for Tyler Walker will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Cedar Point Church. Pastor Rick Burke will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home from 1-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.
Tyler Keith Walker passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 26.
The son of Marcus and Pamela Crutchfield Walker was born November 5th, 1991 in Claremore, Oklahoma. As a child he was raised in the Claremore area. He began his school years at Justus-Tiawah. He would later attend Verdigris and Skiatook schools before graduating in 2010. Shortly after graduating he married Paige Reed on October 23, 2010. The newlywed couple made their home in Claremore, where they would begin raising their family.
Tyler was no stranger to work. He actually began working at the age of 15 with his mother at Daves RV. Throughout school he would work at places such as Braums and Pizza Hut. Most recently he has been working as an automotive tech at the Claremore Speedy Lube.
In his spare time Tyler had many hobbies and pastimes. He enjoyed playing video games and basketball. He also liked going to sprint car races, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. However his true love was spending time with his children and family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marcus Walker and grandparents, Patsy Crutchfield and Roy Gogler.
Survivors include his wife, Paige of the home, children, Ryder and Rylee Walker; mother, Pamela Crutchfield; brothers, Lance Walker and wife Christa and Chuck Beazer; grandparents, Kenny Crutchfield and Beverly West, along with many other extended family members.
