Virna Kay Williams-Wallis known to many as Willy passed away on August 27th, 2018 at the age of 59.
The daughter of Newgean and Katherine Rogers Williams was born October 27, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma. As a young girl she spent lots of her early childhood near Wilburton. As she became old enough to attend school she attended Panola schools. Eventually she and her family would move to the Chelsea area. She would graduate from Chelsea High School in 1976. In the years to follow she would work as a house cleaner for Case & Associates. She later left there to work for Global Santa Fa as a cook on a off shore oil rig. However her desire to be near her family moved her back to Oklahoma. She eventually settled in Broken Arrow, and began working as a cook and custodian for Broken Arrow schools.
In her spare time Virna loved to fish. Besides being with her family it was her number one past time. She also enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, dancing and listening to Abby the spoon lady on the internet.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Newgean and Katherine Williams, and granddaughter, Evelynn Wallis.
Survivors include her children, Chyla May, Kyle Wallis and Rachel Wallis; grandchildren, Kyle Wallis Jr, Kyson Wallis and Kolton Wallis; sisters, Regeana Breshears and husband Clay, Callie Brown, and Bruce Cormier, special friend, and Debra Morgan and husband Gary; brother, Delbert Williams and Wife Pearl and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
