Vivian Dean (Lewis) Lutz, 76, of Coweta, Ok, passed away with family by her side at the Broken Arrow Nursing Center, Friday, August 23, 2019. She was born, December 24, 1942 in Muskogee, Ok to the late James “Buster” Lewis and Anna Mae Seabolt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Virgil Lewis and sister Loretta (Lewis) Lawson.
She retired in 2005 from Forest Hills Nursing Center where she worked as a Certified Medical Assistant. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved quilting and made many of them over the years until health limited that talent. Dean loved music and dancing and if the occasion arose she was known to pull her spoons from her purse and play along. Her vast collection of Native American dolls and Arts & craft items were treasured by all. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage. She also enjoyed watching her old tv shows and OU football.
She is survived by two sisters, Patty (Lewis) McDowell [Clayton] of Tulsa, OK and Lois Jewel Looney of Warner, OK, four daughters, Becky Tubby-Drake of Catoosa, OK., Treva [Jim] Hopson of Broken Arrow, OK., Phylis [Bart] Simpson of Broken Arrow, OK., and Nancy Sinor of Coweta, OK., and several nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on September 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., at Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, OK. 1500 N. York St., Muskogee, OK. 74403
