Wanda Lea Rice passed away on October 23, 2020, she was 85 years old. Wanda was born in Foyil, Oklahoma on August 6th, 1935 to Edward Norway Burns and Retha Irene Burns. Wanda grew up in the Foyil area all her life. In Her younger years she attended Foyil Public Schools and was an all star basketball player. She loved the game of basket-ball and even in her adult years she would play ball with her friends and family. She met her husband (Rice) at a basketball game they later married and made their home in Foyil. Wanda built and managed The famous Top Hat Restaurant off Route 66 for 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed running her diner and serving the community of Foyil. She also loved to travel some of her favorite destinations was the Bahamas, Branson, Boston, Vermont, and spending her summers in Colorado with her family. Wanda enjoyed the simpler things in life and most importantly she loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Retha Burns her first husband Wayne Rice, second husband Ed Derosia, Son; Dwayne Rice. She is survived by her Son Morgan and wife Amy Rice; Daughters; Billie and husband Wayne Martin, Jackie and husband Mark Miller, Brother Mervin Burns. and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids
