Wanda Bernice Wilson

Funeral services for Wanda B. Wilson will be held August 13th, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Hilldale Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. Wanda died Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at her home at the age of 87. The daughter of Ralph and Ethel Estes was born February 1st, 1924 in their home in the country near Bucklin, KS. She graduated from Bucklin High School, Bucklin, KS. and Fort Hays University, Hays, KS. Wanda married Robert B. “Bob” Wilson March 5th, 1943 in Dodge City, KS. Wanda taught school at Oaks, OK, Bucklin KS. and Kinsley KS. for over 30 years and had a great love for her students. She had the honor of teaching kids followed by their kids. She was inducted into the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame in Dodge City, KS in 1986 post retirement.
