Funeral service for William "Wes" Kinser will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Inola. Pastor Lynn Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.
Wes passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at his home in Inola at the age of 60.
The son of Will and Corine Beeler Kinser was born December 28, 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma. At the age of one Wes and his family moved to Sperry. There he later attended Sperry schools, graduating with the class of 1970. He then enrolled at Okmulgee Tech where he began studying auto mechanics. During this time Wes also joined the Army National Guard. It was there that he met Patrica Thomas. They were married February 1, 1977 in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Sperry, where he began working as a mechanic for OTASCO. After several years at OTASCO, Wes worked for a couple other companies such Cooper Manufacturing and General Tire. Then in 1989 Wes and Patrica moved to Washington State. In 1998 they moved back to Oklahoma settling in Tulsa. A year later they moved to Inola, and he began working for the Inola Health Care Center. In his spare time Wes enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting bottle and coffee mugs, and watching TV.
He is preceded in death by his father , Will Kinser.
Survivors include his wife Patrica of the home; daughter, JoBanue Kinser-Smith and husband Michael of Tulsa; son, Will Kinser and wife Katrina of Inola; mother, Corine Kinser of Inola; grandson, William Kinser of the home, brothers, John Henry and wife, Rene of Berryhill, Harrison Lee and wife Beth of Powell, MO, and Roy Pete and wife Ginger of Tulsa; sisters, Darlene Pearl and husband Danny of Sperry, Treasey Elaine of Sperry, and Kimm Victoria and husband Brian of Tulsa.
