Graveside service for Emma "Wildeanna" Carter will be 2 p.m., Fri., June 3, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita, KS. Burial will follow under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Claremore.
Wildeanna passed away Sun., May 29, 2016, at her home at the age of 90.
The daughter of David Goos and Mable C. (Jett) Goos was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Protection, KS. Wildeanna graduated from North High School in Wichita.
Wildeanna was a secretary at the Sedgewick Courthouse for 12 years, and in the 1960's earned her Real Estate Broker license. In the early 1970's she owned Golden Real Estate, a Century 21 office. Wildeanna resided in Wichita until the late 1980's when she moved to Oklahoma City to care for her mother and sister, In 1990, she moved to Tulsa and shortly after to Broken Arrow.
Wildeanna is survived by her children: Julie Eggers and husband, Gary of Broken Arrow, Rob Carter and wife, Sandy of Goddard, KS, and Dixie Lucca and husband, Butch of Elsworth, ME; 6 grandchidren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
