William passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. He was 77.
Born August 29, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carl Stanley and Evelyn Francis (Cox) Dees, William attended schools in Tulsa, graduating from Central High School. He then met and married Jane Wilson in September of 1958. Together they raised their family in Tulsa and this has been home since.
At a young age William (Bill) developed his strong work ethic by making welcome mats out of old tires and then selling them door to door. At the age of 13 he began helping deliver Pepsi to local restaurants. As he became older he began his prestigious career at OTASCO. He began working in the garage, and quickly moved up in the ranks and later became store manager. His hard work earned him the status of 5 Diamond Club and the Super G Award for his salesmanship. He retired in 1990 after 35 years of service. Retirement however didn't stop him from working, his excellences in sales made him a natural in real estate and selling antiques. He opened booths at the area flea markets and enjoyed visiting with all of the potential customers.
Bill loved his family and spent time with them as often as he could. He also had a big heart and loved his dogs and cats. He was an avid OU football fan and was quite the jokester.
Those family members that survive include his sons Tim Dees and wife Lori, Scott Dees and Larry Dees and wife Norma; his grandchildren Mike Dees, Jeff Dees, Meagan Mileur, Dana Boling, Aiden Dees, Devon Dees and Hillarey Michelle Dees; great grandchildren John Ryan, Violet, Rylyn, Kelson, Cannon, Madison, Lexi, Bella, Janey and Gibson and sister Carleen Clark.
