While job opportunities took him to several different states, he eventually returned to Oklahoma, where he and Olah enjoyed many happy years with their 3 sons and their families. Roscoe quietly passed away in Claremore at the age of 96 years.
A veteran, a WWII Flyboy, Roscoe was a member of a B-17 bomber crew credited with 50 missions over Europe in the 483rd Bombardment Group (H), 815th Squadron of the Army Air Corps. The group was involved in several especially dangerous missions, receiving special commendations for their efforts, including a Presidential Citation.
Roscoe continued to love flying, was for many hears happily active in his church, and loved God and his family...who will miss him every day.
