William Otis Kuykendall

Funeral service for William Otis "Bill" Kuykendall will be 2 p.m., Wed., March 20, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Rick Thomas and Stan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-5 p.m., and family will greet friends 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Bill died Thurs., March 14, 2013, at his home at the age of 55.

The son of Maurice Wilburn Kuykendall, Jr. and Vera Maxine (Seabolt) Kuykendall was born March 25, 1957, in Tulsa. He attended Foyil and Chelsea schools. On Aug. 5, 2004, Bill married Marsha Jo Gorman in Chelsea, and they made their home in Claremore. Through the years Bill worked as a truck driver, welder, and in construction remodeling homes. Most recently he worked as a fitter on structural buildings. Bill enjoyed fishing and making metal designs. He built his own Harley; and if he wasn't at home you'd find him sitting on a Harley somewhere.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Marsha; father, Maurice Kuykendall, Jr.; sister, Sharon Kuykendall Ross; brother, Kirk Kuykendall; and grandparents: Maurice Kuykendall, Sr., Lula Kuykendall, and William and Cassie Seabolt.

He is survived by his mother, Vera Kuykendall; daughters: Stephanie Ward, and Kara Lawhorn and husband, Brandon; grandchildren: Jordan Kuykendall, Kara Ward, Dakota Botts, Kay, Eva and Emma Lawhorn; and sisters: Susan Kassick and husband, Jim Tom of Claremore, Gail Bates of Claremore, Garry Bates of Grove and many nieces and nephews.
