Graveside service for Wilma Christine Sims will be 2 p.m., Thurs., May 15, at Lone Elm Cemetery with Joanne Green officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Wilma passed away Mon., May 12, 2014, at Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 43.
The daughter of Hubert H. and Mildred Maxine (White) Sims was born Oct. 1, 1970, in Claremore. Wilma graduated from Foyil High School. Wilma was a devoted mother, and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed being outdoors gardening, fishing, and camping. She was a great friend that will be missed by all who knew her.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Danny Sims, Tony Sims, Ricky Sims, Larry Smith, Dorothy Rabbit, Sarah Smith, and Ruby Haley.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Allen Sims of Stillwater; daughter, Brendie Nichol Sims of Chelsea; and brothers: Mike Sims, Billy Sims, Fred Legates, Jimmy Legates, Wayne Sims, and Gary Sims.
