Funeral service for Winifred "Nadine" Moore will be 2 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 6, at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Michael Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wed. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 5-7 p.m.
Nadine died Sat., Jan. 1, 2011, at Rolling Hills Care Center, Catoosa, at the age of 85.
The daughter of John Aaron and Eveline Elizabeth (Key) Folkner was born June 12, 1925, in Irwin, MO. On May 23, 1968, Nadine married Billy Glen Moore in Tulsa. They made their home in Claremore. Nadine worked as a seamstress for Bryan's Infant Wear for many years; and was a member of American Redbone Association. She enjoyed going to garage sales, and traveling.
Nadine is survived by her husband, Billy of the home; son, Darrell Robison of Nevada, MO; daughter, Elaine Phillips and husband, Butch of Chelsea; step-son, Larry W. Moore of Claremore; step-daughter, Gwen Sneed of Moore; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sisters: Johnnie Medley of Moundville, MO, Verna Overstreet of Lee Summit, MO, and Eva Jordan of Nevada, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
