Zack F. Williams

Funeral service for Zack F. Williams will be 1 p.m., Fri., April 8, at the Inola Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Marley officiating. Burial will follow at Sweeten Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 6-8 p.m., and Wed. 9 a.m.-noon.

Zack died Wed., April 6, 2011, at the Inola Health Care Center at the age of 82.

The son of Forrest Earl and Hattie Lou (Tucker) Williams was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Savanna, OK. He graduated from Savanna High School in 1947. On July 7, 1969, he married Bertha C. Galvan in Lubbock, TX. Zack worked as a linotype operator for several newspapers. He enjoyed being active in his church, Church of God 7th Day in Tulsa. He also enjoyed gardening, books, and taking care of his health.

Zack is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha of Inola; children: Dennis A. Williams and wife, Carol of Savanna, MO, Denise A. Kuhs and husband, Gary of Gelena, MO, and Daniel A. Williams and wife, Julie of Inola; grandchildren: Sean Colwell and wife, Jackie of Branson, MO, Sarah Stilwell and husband, Thomas of , MO, Rebecca Wasser and husband, Kevin of Nixa, MO, Douglas Williams of Norfolk, VA, David Williams of Leakenheath, England, Gabriel Williams of Inola, Joshua Williams of Inola, Drew Williams of Savanna, Bridget Williams of Inola, and Alisha Williams of Inola; great-grandchildren: Kemily and Treven Wasser; and sisters: Christina Simpson of Muskogee, and Ellen Freeman of McAlester.
